Nominate (Volunteer Awards)

Alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD) are significant issues that affect young people all across the country. The goal of our program is to change the environment, community norms, and standards that exist for young people around substance use and abuse in our society. Consequently, we are looking to nominate individuals who have exhibited exceptional efforts and involvement in the area of ATOD prevention. We ask that you send us submissions of any individual who has demonstrated unique and exceptional commitment to the field of ATOD prevention. Examples include:

Individuals selected to receive an award will be invited to attend Lead On! 2011 free of charge, where they will be awarded during a ceremony.

How to Nominate Someone

To nominate a student (grades 6-12) or adult for a Youth Prevention Volunteer Award, please send the name, grade, and school of the nominee along with a description of why you feel he or she would be a good candidate for the award to: mswanson@bccadd.org. You may also fax your nomination to:
