Dr. Matt Bellace, presents
How to Get High Naturally

Matt Bellace, Ph.D., has been a youth motivational speaker and stand-up comedian since 1995. Dr. Bellace has a Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology from Drexel University, is a member of the National Speakers Association and is the author of the book, "A Better High." His "How to Get High Naturally" program encourages over a hundred thousand students a year to pursue natural highs and make healthy choices. Matt was a recurring comedian on truTV's "The Smoking Gun Presents." His stand up can be heard - and requested - on Sirius XM's Comedy Channels.
This dynamic presentation focuses on
natural highs and how to be a healthy
L.E.A.D.er in middle and high school.
It has been described as the perfect
combination of stand-up comedy,
interactive demonstrations and
inspirational stories. Matt empowers
students to be leaders in their lives
and make change in their
environment. In addition, Matt
encourages students to take a stand
against bullying both at school and
online. Goals of the program include:
1. Participants will learn about natural highs, and four things that
are necessary to lead a naturally high life. These four points are
based on protective factors in the prevention literature, but
presented using Matt’s signature style. He employs the acronym
L.E.A.D. to help the audience retain the four points.
a. Lean on Healthy People for Support
b. Express Yourself in a Healthy Way
c. Achieve Natural Highs, and
d. Don’t Be Afraid to Take a Stand
2. Participants should be able to discuss why natural highs are
superior to chemical highs.
3. Participants should better understand the difference between
healthy emotional expression (e.g. exercise) and unhealthy
emotional expression (e.g. bullying).
4. Participants should have fun and associate having fun with a
positive message.
Closing Presentation:
Motivational Speaker
Clifton “Cliff” Crosby, the charismatic, inspirational, and yet sincerely modest former NFL Player and Super Bowl Champion, has a fascinating behind the scenes story of how hard choices and gut-wrenching honesty helped him avoid the pitfalls of growing up in family circumstances that would defeat most children.
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Cliff was an all state star basketball, track and football athlete in high school. He was recruited by the University of Maryland on a full football scholarship and received a degree in Family Studies.
Cliff sat out most games during his junior year of college due to an injury. As a result, he was not drafted by the NFL as he had hoped, but Cliff did succeed in signing on as a free agent with the St. Louis Rams. During his first year on the team, they won the Super Bowl!
Cliff also played for 5 years with the Indianapolis Colts and reluctantly concluded his football career with the Kansas City Chiefs a few years ago.
With the many accolades of life as a professional football player behind him, Cliff has become a tireless champion for youth as he talks to teens about the life skills and choices that will protect them from risky behaviors.
Highly regarded in the Washington, D.C. - Baltimore area for his commitment to child advocacy, Cliff is in great demand as a motivational speaker with Caron because he has such an insightful and valuable message to share with all of us.
